We asked the locals what there local attractions were and this was one of the answers. We saw this white big building and a huge lawn in front. Just took a picture by the road sign. Then we went to the wet market next to buy pasalubong and we loved the longganisa, then we had to sample the kakwate and... More

The park is a perennial haven for the annual gathering for the showcase of arts and talents in NEGROS ORIENTAL.For any art enthusiasts,it gives one a truly heavenly experience where the artistry meets ingenuity of the NEGRENSES.The famous show is the OCTOBERFEST of the so called Buglasan Festival.

Just a plain ground with some playing equipment for kids to enjoy. Not a good place to by stand actually. I notice that Aside from those playing football/soccer on the field and the watchers no other people present in the area.

Whenever we want our grandchild to walk, stroll and run a long pathway, there is no other choice, but this place. Considering our home has a limited space for walking, strolling and running, it is only in this park where we can do what we want most especially during early morning when the sun is still rising and there are... I really see nothing special there. Well you see students dropping their rubbish wherever they go or sit. Not sure what they learn in school about the environment.

Basically, there's nothing to do in this place. It's just a plain park. The government cut some of the old acacia trees in the area for the safety of students and people passing on this area. Buglasan booths are placed here every 3rd week of October and Christmas decorations are present in the park at December. The place might also... More

Sadly, the park is not respected by those who use it. During the day, litter is everywhere. However, during the Christmas Festival, the park was transformed with Christmas displays, games, rides, food, and a stage with local entertainment making for a very pleasurable evening.

Along the busy road and concrete surroundings this park offers a green respite with its manicured lawn and tree lines along the perimeter. A good place for an early morning jog and a place oftentimes used for shows, parades and other events specially this Christmas season.

During buglasan festival is the great time to visit the park. It fills w/ endless cultural shows, fairs and sports activities. Otherwise, try ordinary days if you love a little more peaceful view.
