The first good thing is that it has its own private parking spaces in a town where it's often difficult to park. Entry just a few Euros. I wouldn't really call it a museum because because i's more of a collection with some items only having comments or information. None the less fascinating to walk around the three floors. Well worth visiting. If lucky you might even get to see toys being repaired. The film that can be seen also shows some items no longer on general display.
A pity that the owners didn't advise the Tourist Information Office that from 1st September they were only open in the afternoons, only having a notice on the gate.

My husband and I visited this extraordinary place together. We found enough items to keep us both entertained on memory lane for ages.
It was lovely to see young children enjoying the museum as much as the adults !

This is a quirky private collection, put together by one person over a period of time. It is small (I'd call it a collection rather than a museum) and we took under an hour to look around it. There are helpful and detailed explanatory notes in French with shorter translations into other languages. For us it was a trip down memory lane - if you are slightly more mature in age and love toys then this is an absolute must. For real children (rather than pretend ones) there are a few sets of toys which can be played with.

This is a private collection and toy repair shop. He and she have a really nice over view of many types of toys. Mechanical , manual, electric. Dolls and doll play sets. Riding toys and finished erector sets . Only 3 Popeyes. We enjoyed it. If you have time see the video , to see some of the wind ups work is great. Little mechanical marvels.
I heard, anything is for sale, but he only has prices on the poster collection.

Sweet museum in the heart of town. We went after the market and thoroughly enjoyed the trip down memory lane. Kids were given a treasure hunt to do by the people at reception which lead to a lollipop prize. What more could they want...
Museum is very nicely presented and has an air of somebody's passion for toys on display to the public. Not very interactive as the toys are mostly collectors editions, but there are videos showing the wind-up ones in action (Not to be confused to the other Musee du Jouet in Bezier, that we didn't get to visit)
Lovely way to spend an hour, not too expensive.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We all enjoyed our visit. Our younger children were given a photo treasure hunt to do as they looked round and our older child was given a quiz which made our visit even more enjoyable.

We had seen the signs to this little museum for years and finally stopped in.... it was fun to see so many items that each of us could remember from our youth... I think children would be happy to see some of the stuff.
