This is the most amazing place to visit, truly jaw dropping. The scale is hard to imagine until you are inside then wow! Audio guide is really useful but just wander around and take in this incredible place. The colours and lighting are superb. Would love to return for a second visit. Fabulous.

Visited with children, was quite interesting but not really for the children. Be careful of the steps leading up to the higher levels and the low head height! Lady at the entry was initially quite frosty but made up for it at the end by being friendly. Tip : if you are staying at the municipal camping you can get... More

Real gem and worth every minute of visit. How did they get a plumb line efficiency from the bottom up ? Awesome workmanship. Mithras temple adds interest

This is an amazing, atmospheric place to visit. Pretty sure it is the largest underground church l have ever visited. Very photogenic and well worth a visit.

If you are in the region, this is a must see. The church is beautiful and unique in Europe. It is already impressive, and there's only a small piece left compared to what was originally built.

Every now and then you get to a place that is truly unique...well there's supposed to be another church carved out of stone (top down)...exquisite...impressive. Leaves you in awe. Doesn't take long; the audio guide is good and the town is just a lovely place to wonder. Nice ceramics atelier if you're looking for small gifts. Even if you don't... More

One of two Cave churches we saw in France so far. This one is off the beaten path in a really pretty town. It's privately owned and there is a small entrance fee that comes with an audio guide. A visit takes about 20-30 minutes. As you walk in the size will astound you. It's in really good shape. The... More

This church was carved into the rock of a cliff, in the middle of the village and under the then Lord's castle, in the 12th C. when the local Lord came back from the Crusades. Impressive!

This Church is really amazing .. we were fascinated by all items we discovered there. You are able to get an Audio guide with details on the Church and people.

This doesn't look much from the outside but is fascinating inside - though you do need to get the audio devices to make the most of it (in 4 languages I think, but definitely got them in English). Hollowed out of the ground and quite expansive considering the tools that would have been used. Its about 5 minutes gentle amble... More
