Easy to access (take the exit to the east of town) and parking on the road by the beach but also at the nearby archeological site with a small walk. Two sun loungers and a parasol is €7 for all day (someone come around and...More

Clean, cheap and much quieter than Malia beach!! Lots to see, lots of beds and umbrellas, watersports. Lifeguard on duty at all times!

We went from Stalis for a short visit to Potamos Beach. Though all the facilities like restaurants, sunbeds and clean toilets were available but on the whole it was looking little dull compare to Stalis and Malia beaches which were more lively in the daytime.

It's a good 50 min walk from the main strip but it is worth it! It was recommended to us by the hotel staff and it's more where the locals go, which means it's not as crowded as Malia beach. For 2 sun-loungers with parasols...More

Hi, I don’t think the bus goes to the beach but the little train passed us one day but not sure if you can hop on/hop off. The beach was worth the trip-a lot quieter than Malia and the sandwiches at the little canteen cabin... More
