Not a typical beach with hundreds of parasols

First, the cons: Getting down to the lake requires a shuttle bus to a drop off point (3km) followed by a hike down a dirt road (about 600 meters). This implies that at the end of... read more

Surely the same lake as in Bracciano, a must to visit, to take a sunbath for a relaxing day, you can hire sun beds or you bring only your suimsuit and your bath towel. Wy not go for a picnic ?

This particular lake satisfies the needs of most travelers, from the thrill seeker to the traveler who would just like to relax under a shady umbrella in the green grass. Kayaks, canoes, pedalos, and umbrellas are available for rent and there is a concession stand on the premises. As far as parking goes, there is a shuttle service for 4-8... More

Close to Rome is this jewel of a lake. Green water and beautiful nature. I spent my day at Naiticlub and went sailing , swimming and walking. It is very comfortable as you can hire an umbrella and chairs, and there are plenty of great places to eat amazing food at. I have recommended Nauticlub Lake Martignano to many of... More

Lake in what was once a volcanic cone. No road traffic. Beautiful location. Good for swimming. Lots of tall trees giving shade in hot weather. Several simple bar/restaurants.

Lago di Martignano is tucked away over a hillside next to Lake Bracciano - much smaller and quieter. Take the road from the centre of Anguillara towards the station and take a left beside a little chapel just past the turning for Trevignano. Just after narrow bridge take a right to big car park in a field. 5 euro for... More
