Like the title suggests - I'm biased. I got married here a few weeks back and obviously I had the weekend of my life. The surroundings are beautiful - the location great and two infinity pools adds to the flavor. My guests really appreciated the wine as well. Well worth a stay, visit or marriage for that matter.

Make sure to visit this winery if around Gaiole. Very good wines and really good service. One can sit in the garden and enjoy the wine tasting.

The wine tasting itself was a bit of a mess. They asked us to grab a table and brought over some wine, my wife had to chase one of the servers down to find out info on the wine. We also had to fight with them to get the bread and cheese we had paid for in advance. The tasting... More

The tour of the grounds ending with a wine tour was wonderful. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. She provided the tour in both English and Italian due to the mix of our tour group. She shared great insights on the history of Chianti, Castello di Meleto, and the baroque style. The wine tasting that followed was so... More

As you may be able to guess from the title, we recently got married at Meleto. From meeting Katia Mastrandrea at a wedding event in London she was the most helpful person. Katia recommended some great suppliers and none of them disappointed. She recommended that we visit the venue before taking the decision to get married there and it didn't... More

A wonderful wedding venue. Truly a fairytale experience. Everything was perfect. The setting for the ceremony, drinks and starters in the herb garden, then the dinner in the secret garden - all were perfect. 8 hours of delicious food. wonderful music and craic. We all wish "it could be like this all the time".

Meleto Castle is worth a visit, tour, and wine taste. Not as large as Brolio but as interesting. Well maintained inside and out and related to producing vineyards of fine wines.

This place is breathtaking! We had rooms in the castle itself and words cannot even begin to describe how amazing it is. The wine shops on the estate has a fantastic selection of wine and the two infinity pools were just gorgeous overlooking breathtaking landscapes below. The whole wedding was just amazing from start to finish and the layout and... More

This was another gorgeous castle in Gaiole. And the tour was quite enjoyable. The tasting that ended the tour, however, felt too much like San Francisco than like Tuscany. The aesthetic of the wine shop was incongruously modern--sleek, white and clean. Just felt all wrong.
