This is a simple but lovely church with beautiful wood work, painting and an organ. Built soon after the death of San Francis is worth a visit. With the modest price of entrance you can visit a pinacoteca and an oil museum, both very interesting.

It's confusing why some towns close churches for certain periods other than lunchhtime, while others do nonsuch thing. It's not about security as much of vitally has man churches open throughout the day. It takes very little effort to keep a church open, and if costs are a factor, then perhaps they should ask for some helpmate clearly outhouse entering.... More

We came to Trevi to hear an evening concert in the church (part of the Trasimeno Music Festival with Angela Hewitt). We went over in the afternoon to see the art in the church -- (practically the only ones there) -- and got treated to hearing a rehearsal for the evening concert.
