The entrance costs only 2 euros! Unfortunately the waterfall pool was a bit cold due to the rain of the previous day, but the other one was very hot. It would have been better if it was less crowded but it was still worth it. Advice: take your own towel or buy it outside because it costs 25 € inside.

Basicly it has become far too touristic. You need to either make a booking so that you can get access to the hot springs or you have to break in in the middle of the night to be able to get access to the tiny hot spring. Your better off running a hot bath and playing background music of birds... More

If you want peace and quite go in the morning. Even in January can be crowded. We arrived about 10am, it was perfect. After 11 many people came. The older and nicer pool wasn't warm enough for us (27degrees), but the other one was perfect (38degrees). Unfortunately the shower was cold.

Beautiful location and surroundings. If you want to have a dip in the natural pools go super early, it opens at 9 am. I had gone to the Caldeira the previous day but it was so crowded my husband and I didn't feel comfortable going in the pools. There are two pools about 20 metres in diameter. We loved the... More

Such an interesting place to visit and very popular. They have changing rooms for those who wish to take a dip in the warm water. I didn't because of the cold day, but others did. The boiling water and places on the ground around the pool were fascinating .

Expect to pay 2 euros to enter. It's worth a visit but not a must see. Good luck with the restrooms.

Fantasic, this place is like a scene from a Hollywood movie. It has changing facilites and showers. There are 2 pools which yoy can bath in. The main attraction one is breath takin but in the 20 degrees or so. The smaller one is much warmer and smells of sulpher. This is a great place and it only cost 2... More

This place is beyond description. It is like a scene out of a movie. Surrounded by sounds of nature including birds. (Assuming other guests are being quiet). The water is heated naturally by coming from the volcanic underground. They have modernized it now with change rooms and an Volcano info center.

Very relaxing place to walk and have a thermal bath. You can watch the real endemics from the Azores.
