Beach day

We’d previously visited Cala Agulla (lovely) but wanted to try somewhere a little more remote - and Torta is definitely that. The last piece of road is pretty rough - not ideal for the low Mercedes E class convertible we had!... hence we parked about 100 metres (we arrived at 10am) away from the car park entrance as I deemed the remainder of the journey too risky! The walk from car to beach took about ten minutes so not too bad. Lovely beach with shaded areas by the cliffs. Beach bar was closed which is a shame - looked like this was a permanent closure. Nice beach, good swimming and not too crowded. Can recommend - but use a 4x4...!!!

Well worth the dodgy drive

Fantastic beach! Awful approach road but we made it in a basic hire car. No facilities or bar but we took a bottle of water and our girls (10 & 7) loved it. Crystal clear water and not very busy. Greta snorkelling!

Chiringito Cala Torta - Perfect spot but can be high priced

This beautiful beach is no secret, neither the good food of the little kitchen hut of that beach!
... wonderful views, fresh wind, you sit in the shadow ! Just remember that food comes 18-40 per person, so it can be expensive as a lunch spot !

Amazing spot

We have visited few beaches on the east coast and that one was our favourite... bumpy road to get there but soooo worth it.
Amazing, clear water, white sand, beautiful surroundings... we would love to come back one day!!!

Amzing beach but be careful

The beach itself is quite beautiful and the water there is turquoise colour but just as a note: Do not leave your belongings and more specifically do not leave any cash in your car at the free parking near the beach. An amount was stolen from our car. We left it locked and found it locked but there was missing cash. Just keep that in mind!

Beautiful beach, with lovely scenery and great swimming.
Easy to find, great hikes in surrounding area... Lovely to cool off in sea afterwards.

Idyllic beach

A very bumpy road down but well worth the drive. As with all beaches in Majorca, get here early to get a good spot- it’s not huge!
Sand is soft and clean, water is crystal clear. There’s a small beach shack but it only takes cash, much to my dismay!

Disappointed
Aug 2018 • Family
This was a beach recommended by The Daily Telegraph ‘Majorca best beaches’ article, but sadly we didn’t even get to see it. For fear of taking the bottom off our hire car, we had to turn back. The road to the beach was in a terrible state. So disappointing not to have reached the beach, as there were a few good reviews. The best way to reach it seemed to be in beach buggies, which it appeared you could hire from somewhere near by.

Idyllic spot

I've been fortunate enough to have travelled to most corners of the world , carribean,Maldives's etc but Cala torta for me is the best beach I've been to, not nessesarily the best sand but its location , fabulous clean clear water, the size of it,the one only bar/restaurant and its remoteness.
I can't wait to go back.
