If you have ever read the story of Anne of Green Gables, you will see first hand where Lucy Maud Montgomery got her inspiration from. Lovely area, even though a bit of a drive out, certainly a place to stop for any Anne fans. Nice...More

We were not sure what to expect from this museum so we just stopped by and asked what it was. We had already been over to Green Gables (which is a must-do). From what I understand, this was another family house that Montgomery visited occasionally....More

This site is not worth the trip. If you have a reservation for the hour long carriage or thirty minute ride, call ahead because they are frequently canceled due to high winds. Not sure why, seems like the horses would be used to wind right...More

I would say half a day is plenty enough. Make sure to visit the book store. The lady running the book store gave a beautiful little explanation about the life of the author, etc. We really enjoyed that. :)
