What a sight to see from the city itself and while taking the hike to the pyramid. Unfortunately, due to the recent earthquake, the pyramid is closed. However, you can still hike to it.

Awesome hike with great shopping and food on the way. Be a local and eat like a local in the indigenous market.

We parked in town and walked half a mile to the trail head. It is 2.5 km up to the top. It's a pretty steep, strenuous climb so make sure to dress appropriately and bring water. Unfortunately, we got to the top to discover that...More

At the base of the trail up to the pyramid there was a restaurant which looked like it had lovely views. If I'd had more time before catching my bus back to Mexico City I would have tried there.
