Nice late harvest verdhello and 2014 shiraz. Worth a visit and browse the different things on offer. Wonderful gardens and friendly owners.

We visited this winery this week. The wines were lovely and the couple that own and run the cellar door were delightful. Ful of local knowledge and very down to earth and friendly.

We had a a wonderful experience at Sandalyn where, in a small group of six we spent a few hours learning the proper process of pasta making before enjoying having it cooked for us at a sit down lunched where we enjoyed the wines from the vines. The variety of olive oils also available were remarkable so we left with... More

We had a great day at Sandalyn learning to make pasta. Package included learning to make and prepare several types of pasta. We then went on to eat our creations for lunch whilst overlooking the vineyards. Wine flowed generously throughout the day. everybody was there to have fun and enjoy themselves. Staff were very welcoming and our teacher, Caiman, was... More

Great atmosphere, great band, great food, great wine. Could have stayed all day, unfortunately had to get back to the real world. We will be here again this time next year

Winery is rather picturesque; it almost feels like being in Tuscany. My partner and I were booked in for a pasta making cooking class. This is held downstairs in the cellar door and run by a chef. The chef was very informative, however he seemed to take an instant dislike to a group of ladies who were in the class.... More

Sandalyn Estate is not only a winery, it is also one of very few places in the Hunter Valley that offers cooking classes. I had heard a positive review on local radio regarding the pasta making class and decided to book for myself and four other people, including two of my daughters. I purchased a voucher for one of my... More

A few years ago when I first saw these remarks I thought they were outrageous, and I certainly wasn't going to dignify them with any kind of response. However, after recently reading them again I thought maybe I should, as they say "You can flatten the pancake as much as you like, but it still has two sides". The way... More

We were driving in the area and decided to stop in for a tasting. We found the owners hard at work but they took time to talk with us about their property, their vineyards, production and life in this area in general. Because it was not busy our tasting was quite personal. I am not a wine connoiseur but I... More

WOW what a disappointing experience at this vineyard. I have been to the Lovedale Long Lunch for several years but I've never experienced such poor service & poor form. When you buy a ticket to Lovedale Long Lunch part of the purchase includes 10 drink tokens. It is clearly stated on each drink token that 1 tasting ticket = 1... More
