I really loved this visit because it's cheap and beautiful. You can bring your food and spend a good time there with family and friends. There is a nice canopy you can enjoy and you won't spend a lot, bsides you can take amazing pictures there. The entrance cost is approximately $4 and I don't know if it's different for... More

I takes at least 35mins to get to the actual waterfall from Lago de Yojoa. As you get there, you have to pay for Admission. For adults it's L.70 ($3-4). With that ticket, you'll have acess to the entire area. You can swim in the different natural pools and do some sightseeing to take some amazing pictures. There's a nice... More

I apologize for my previous review. I enjoyed time with my family. Only thing that sucked was the rain when were arriving but it´s all part of the adventure. Will be back there soon!

Heavy rains the night before made the falls particularly powerful today. The tour behind the falls was closed when we arrived but we waited it out. The trail down to the water was easy. At one point we had to jump in a small pool and swim across. The actual climb to a ledge behind the falls was pretty scary... More

A visit to these waterfalls is definitely worth it! Not only are the surroundings beautiful, the trip towards the waterfalls will lead you alongside the river, but also the waterfalls are very impressive. You should definetely take a tour (they depart every 1.5 hours or so) behind the waterfalls. Make sure to were light sneakers, just flipflops are bare feet... More

The place is a bit like a summer camp so don't expect five-star accommodations, but it's a very visitor-friendly place that should be on your list if you are anywhere in the area. The zip-line experience beside the falls was exhilarating! First-Rate and well managed activity for both safety and thrills!

While beautiful, visiting this waterfall did not go how we expected it to. Lots of people talk about tours behind the falls, but the day we were there no guides were in site. It looks as if the area is being renovated? The zip lines weren't in operation either. It took quite a bit of effort to get to this... More

Don't expect the Niagara or the Iguazu falls. However its location in a verdant forest is beautiful. There's an entry fee. From the car park its a quick walk to the falls. Its raw nature here and this makes the falls even more attractive. Anywhere else the pool at the head of the falls would be cordoned off. Here in... More

The Waterfall is a nice destination - you can spend the whole day there relaxing - hiking the short trails - birding etc It is easy to reach Pulha as locals call it - in San Buenaventura there are a couple of markings - take a right and follow the road within a few minutes you will be at the... It takes awhile to reach these falls and they are nice to see but if you have seen waterfalls like Multnomah Falls (542 feet tall, just outside of Portland, Oregon in the Columbia River Gorge) then you will not be too impressed with these falls. The walkways and the little park here are Central American standard, it could be so... More
