After seeing Yangjiabu which is a kite factory, museum didnt impress me much though I should admit it has the greatest old and historical kites in the world. Since last year they made free entrance.

Free for foreign passport holders. More information and better English translations than the museum at the culture village. Takes about half an hour if you're just checking it out and not a kite aficionado.

Learn about Kite manufacturing in this city which has quite long story and nice design. Worth to spend time here.

Love the kite museum. Various kinds of kites could be sighted. They even have a workshop to show you how a kite is being made. Visitors can buy the kites on the spot

The museum is free, but you must show picture id before you go in and also go though a metal detector. The showcases have lots of interesting stories and kites displays. It was very interesting and I would go back again.

Weifang is known for their kite, you must go. It is amazing! you will need to take a taxi, once you are ready to leave, have someone that work at the museum call you a taxi. It is hard to find a taxi.
