You can easily spend multiple days on this beach: when the sun goes up, grab a surfboard from any surf shop nearby and head for the waves. Grab a drink every now and then from the idyllic restaurants. Read a book, relax, sunbathe, hang out...More

Everything was amazing! The food was delicious and the tourist attractions were very affordable and didn't make us feel like tourist we felt like we belonged there. This is a place I will definitely attend again but this time with family.

Another fantastic Costa Rica beach sppt with great restaurants and bars nestled along the inviting Pacific coast line. Great surf, safe beaches, cold beer...start your trip at Banana Beach. Doesn't get much better than this.

Great beach to watch surfers at high tide and to watch the sunset. Lots of surf camps. Not such a eat place if you want to swim in the sea.

The title says it all. There's nowhere else in the world I'd rather be. Beautiful stretch of beach, friendly people, and lots of sunshine. I'll be back every chance I can.

Beautiful surfer beach, day and night. Every night all gather for sunset enjoying spontaneous bonfires and music. The Pacific ocean is unbelievably warm, great for playing in the waves.

Looking to travel towards the end of October. Is it too rainy then? Difficult to drive? Are the businesses and restaurants open?

October is really not the best time to go. Yes a lot of rain, and sometimes the roads are washed out from the heavy rain. The business are not all open since it is low season.
