We had a rental car & tried to use google maps to find the trail head. We were in the area but google was lost! Luckily there were blue signs that pointed to “india dormida” so we followed them. Then when you arrive there is...More

Great hike. Nothing complex but watch the trail markers carefully! Parents over 65 and 3 20+ children - all loved it.

It was a bit of a "hike" l itself just to get to the trail from our hotel, but even that was beautiful. Like other reviewers have said, it does have an enterance fee. Children are $2 and adults are $3. There is a bathroom...More

The view from the top is very nice but be advised the walk is quite difficult with young kids. My husband wore our daughter on his back ( as he is doing already our entire trip) but is was tough. Some parts are really steep...More

I did not expect this hike to be so beautiful. You start at Piedra Pintada and then pass by Lover's Falls and several other waterfalls. After an hour of easy climbing, you get to the top with amazing views. Take hiking boots and possibly sticks...More

If you have occasion to drive around the area and see the sleeping giant girl and the valley in the volcano, you will be happy you saw it. But it really hasn't been a highlight in our trip so far

This is a great hike, the hike takes maybe an hour to get to the top and 45 minutes to return down. During the rainy season the trail can get quite muddy and slippery. There is one part of the path where you need to...More

Great little hike, even though we didn't make it up to the top with our 9 and 11 year olds because a sudden afternoon downpour left us soaked and the trails seemingly like little rivers. Kids loved it and swam in some of the pools...More
