The Museum you can touch Nature, humans and technology. inatura museum in...

The Museum you can touch Nature, humans and technology. inatura museum in Dornbirn offers something for everyone, and does this in a particularly unusual way, because here touching is expressly encouraged. The main focus is on trying, playing, experiencing and understanding. The journey takes you through the different habitats that are characteristic of Vorarlberg: mountain, forest and water. In the final section of the museum, we go beyond the realms of possibility and in the truest sense of the word, go inside ourselves. inatura makes it possible to actually visit our bodies. Interactive and multimedia presentations demonstrate the exciting links between the life and interactive zones and provide an insight into the wonder of nature, people and their technical achievements. A fascinating experience. It is not surprising, therefore, that inatura is considered to be one of Europe's most modern natural history museums. In addition to our permanent exhibits, in the gallery in the entrance area we offer our visitors regularly-changing, interesting special exhibits on varying topics. Come on in and take a look. A visit to inatura always has something new to offer.

Inatura is an interactive museum about nature and physics. Perfect to spend a few hour with kids exploring and discovering. There is a lot of play and loads to learn in a save and friendly enviroment. Afterwards it is time for a drink and snack in the kids friendly restaurant on ground level. There are changing exhibitions as well which... More

Oh was really a nice and interesting place. My wife, my children and i enjoyed here very much. If they would have enough space for parking would be much better.

Very interesting and funny place for both boy (age 9) and adults. It takes at least 2 hours to get through all the interactive places, and actually you can spend a lot more time in there. A good place to go at a rainy day....

This was a great museum for the kids on our stopover in Dornbirn. Most of the displays and exhibits had descriptions in English and German, but toward the end of the museum some of the displays were only in German. Still our non German speaking/reading family enjoyed the museum and felt it was worth while. We spent probably two hours,... More

Kind of a strange location, in the backstreets of an ordinary provisional town. But it's a really great place to spend a chunk of time. Loads of hands on stuff. Discovered what I knew already... that my daughter can scream at higher decibels than the rest of the family. But more importantly loads of stuff I didn't. Just make sure... More

We were delighted to discover that there are excellent descriptive panels in English as well as German. This is a great destination for children, particularly in the age range 7-12 but there is something for everyone here. It is both educational and fun. It got very crowded on the rainy day we visited. Not surprising as it was so good!

Note! This review is about the restaurant in Inatura, not the museum itself. My son (6) & I actually had a great time at the museum. However, things turned sour when we had a bite to eat at the restaurant. Dorbirn is right across the border from Switzerland. We live in Switzerland and assumed that as most good restaurants do,... Great museum in an old industrial building. Tickets valid for whole day so you can come and go as you please. Cafeteria available with average food. Toilets at several points throughout the museum. You go upstairs and progress through various stages of the museum, finally coming down through the levels. This museum was funded by the town of Dornbirn and... More
