Perissa is perfect for families or young teenagers looking for beach fun. It is full of places with sun beds and beach ombrella. There are also many water sports available. Water is beautiful and the location overall is very calm.

Perissa beach strip is full of great bars and restaurants and little shops. Some of the bars have swimming pools where you can spend the day relaxing and listening to music. Most the bars/restaurants have loungers and umbrellas on the beach and will serve you...More

More than 1,5km of a black volcanic beach with beach bars every 100mtrs. Nice small or bigger shops and nice hotels for lower budget. Really good fish and not only tavernas all over the place. Great for families with smaller kids

The beach is very clean and tidy. Plenty of loungers / parasols for many of the restaurants and cafes. If you use a restaurant, you generally get the lounger free of charge for the day. Many offer beach service.

Everything is easy with Perissa beach. You can walk along it and find lots of great cafes and restaurants (many that let you use parasols and sunbeds, with wifi, if you are a customer). The sand is black and gets super hot so remember to...More

Beach was busy but seemed safe enough. Sunbeds are generally owned by the resturants if you eat/drink with them then there is no rental fees although some may charge a minimum spend.

Lovely relaxing beach with plenty of restaurants and bars to relax in for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Find one that takes cost of sunbed and umbrella off your restaurant bill. Most do this. Even during peak times. Black pebbly beach that gets very hot so...More

A nice clean beach; however watch out it can get hot underfoot. There are duckboard paths to the loungers. Loads of loungers & shades & surprisingly not that crowded. Most of these are owned & maintained by the bars & restaurants dotted along the beach...More

Sympathetic beach with no stones at the most parts but they should not allow cars to get into the beach road. A lot of restaurants and places to relax.

There's a straight bus that runs from Fira bus station to the beach! If I'm not wrong it runs every 20 minutes.

Many good questions... Too far away from perissa to fira by foot. At this time of the year maybe better to book before. At night it is also far from perissa to fira or Oía, but Fira is nearer. Do not miss the sunset... More
