The first day we arrived at Ely Beach, the water was a bit cold (end of June) but clear. It's pretty crowded beach, but wide enough with a lot of sunbeds for everyone!

Great having a Beach in the city, there is a diving board in the sea, sun loungers & water activities. People come round selling drinks & snacks. Parking is difficult, better to come on foot. You can see the cruise ships up close. Wouldn’t like...More

In fairness, we didn't use Elli Beach -- we just walked by, and consequently can't comment on the swimming etc. However, it was jam packed with loungers in the Italian style -- one could hardly see the beach. What was on the loungers wasn't very...More

the jumping trambuline in the see is nice. The beach is made mostly of small stones, pebbles, and there are mostly private beaches where you can rent umbrellas and seats.

This beach was easily reached from our hotel in the Old Town - about a 20 minute walk. Nice to just relax and enjoy some sea time.

Hello, there! Well, it's about 30-45 minutes easy walking to the beach. As the road goes by the sea and outside the castle walls there are plenty of sightseeing and photos to take. I usually don't use sun beds and umbrella... More

Hello This is right next to mandrake marina. The taxi from Old town to beach entrance is 5 euros. For food definitely Fotis. Good food and environment. Enjoy !
