About
Nestled between two sheer rock faces that are connected by an arched bridge, this narrow cove is a unique and breathtaking spot on the Amalfi Coast. It draws flocks of travelers, especially during summer, who love swimming in its calm waters and sunbathing on its pebbly beach. Head up to the bridge for amazing views from the top—you might even catch a couple of adrenaline seekers cliff-jumping. To get there, drive to the quaint village perched atop the cliffs and hike down the path to the beach. Visit the cove on a tour of the Amalfi Coast, which often includes a stop here. – Tripadvisor

Just beautiful, really worth the visit, even if you decide to walk there from amalfi. Maybe if you drive, you will have some difficult parking, but it is easily possible to reach there by bus as well.

An amazing place on a stunning coast . Well worth the hike we had down the mountain and into Fiord . It was too early in the year to swim but would definitely do this next Time . There is a lovely restaurant 5 mins walk away with a great terrace overlooking the sea .

Very scenic and exotic beach, located right on Amalfi drive, but not easy to reach.
option 1: bus - the stop is right across fiordo, you just have to walk 5 minutes to the beach.
option 2: get a kayak in Marina di Praya, and you can get to fiordo in about 20 minutes.
option 3: driving- try to find parking in Furore village and hike about 40 minutes to beach. or have the driver let out passengers at the bus stop, they can enjoy the beach, and he can sit and wait in a parking lot of a nearby restaurant. just make sure to agree on pick up time, as there is minimal to none telephone service at the fiordo.

Absolutely nothing is free in this neck of the woods, so it refreshing not to have to pay to visit this place of incredible natural beauty. I recommend arriving early in the morning, before the boats start poking their noses in the bay and the place floods with people. Also, if you swim outside the bay, ensure you’re in fine fettle as the currents are strong and swimming back under the bridge, through the narrows is hard work, even for a strong swimmer. Anyway, you MUST see this place if you’re nearby.

Wanted to go to this place after seeing it on tv with Gino jumping and Bradley Walsh.
Very hard to park the car.
First time we went my husband stayed in the car because it’s not that safe on the road, the second time we had a better space on the road so we all went down.
A small walk down steps to the beach. Water is warm. My husband and son jumped and enjoyed themselves. Worth doing. Very private beach.

We spent three weeks in Italy in June 2022. We saw A LOT - Pompei, Naples, Rome, Cinque Terre, Tuscany, Lucca, etc, etc. So much beauty and wonderful experiences. And with all of that, Fiordo di Furore might just be our favorite spot. I loved it so much I use a pic from our day there as my TA profile pic!

It's easy to walk down the path from the road, and there are spots along the way where you can jump into the water (we jumped from a spot about 40 ft above the water).

But if you also love to hike, there's a way to approach it through the woods leading down from the cliffs above it. That's what we did. It was a tricky trail head to find; we used All-Trails and almost missed it (wish I could offer specific tips). It's not an easy approach; the dirt path can get slippery. Still, it's beautiful. Adding to the difficulty is that we first had to walk countless sun-exposed steps up to get to the trail head. Not fun in the June heat. The path has plenty of shade. Option 2 is to just do a there-and-back starting at the bridge & beach.

After walking past so many of the true touristy beaches along the Amalfi Coast, this was a welcome difference. Tucked away inside a narrow canyon that opens onto the sea, this spot provides a nice opportunity to calmly enjoy a refreshing swim. The smooth rock and pebble beach isn't the most comfortable on the feet, and getting here is sometimes easier said than done, but the combination of activity and setting still make it memorable.

Incredible day here! Most beautiful environment. Lovely water. Hired two sun beds, parked up and soaked it all up. In and out of the emerald blue water, kids jumped off the rock walls. One of our best swims in Italy so far (possibly only topped by Manarola on the Cinque Terre coast further north)

Fiordo di Furore is a fantastic place to swim and enjoy the scenery. The stairs are easy and the beach is small, but very pittoresk. This was one of my highlights on the Amalfi coast. Parking is not easy, but it is worth going for it. Also enjoy the view from above.
