In 2015 I joined a Tour at Lungarotti. The Tour was great and very interesting. You get a Tour through the whole factory and all the rooms. After the Tour it was time for wine tasting. All the wines I liked, I bought! Be sure to taste their olive oil also! It is very tasty! A few days ago I... More

Visited Lungarotti for a tour and tastings. Great reception, interesting tour with a young guide who really wanted us to enjoy ourselves. We were celebrating my parents 59th anniversary and they graciously opened a bottle of sparkling to get us started! Tasty wines and olive oil. A lovely experience!

I admire the history of Lungarotti as one of the oldest and famous wine producer in Umbria, their commitment also to Torgiano (best wine museum in Italy) and naturally their excellent Rosso Riserve di Torgiano DOCG. Complimenti!

We booked a tour with a lovely lady with dark hair, I can't seem to remember her name. She was very knowledgable on the process of their wine making, as well as their unique way of bottling sparkling wine. She knew the history flawlessly. After the tour, we booked a tasting of wine and olive oil. It was very organized... More

The Cantine Lungarotti are very nice and our guide was extremely friendly. it is a must see to understand the history of a famous Italian wine and the process to produce it. We also enjoyed tasting the red and white wine

The owners of the vineyards and of the winery are excellent winemakers from generations; they produce red and white wines of outstanding quality; I like very much the whites, the "Torre di Giano" and "Grechetto"; by chance a restaurant that I like- far from Umbria - has these excellent wines, and they suggested the "Torre di Giano" V.I.P. Our group had a complete tour of the winery which was modern and extremely well equipped. We then had a tasting of 5 wines two whites and three reds. We tasted some of their better wines and all were well made. The vin santo was excellent

The wine tasting was relaxed and interesting with very good wines. The tour again was interesting but as little short of explanation. The staff were very friendly and willing to answer even the most complex questions.

We had a fabulous afternoon with Grazia yesterday, she was a brilliant host. We had a tour of the winery which was fascinating, and we even saw the bottling process(I get the feeling that they held out on this until we arrived so we could see it in action!) the whole place was clean and professional, and really well set... Such wines! The family owned winery culls the grapes from owned and co-op'd yards in the local area, and theses folks are very receptive to touring the facilities privately.
