On one of the coldest brightest days of the year we had a bracing walk on this spotlessly clean beach. If only the temperature had been 20 degrees higher . .

Went for a stroll here today. Windy and cold.......but bracing. Cleared away the cobwebs in my head after a long drive here. Parking is a bit restricted and on a hot day would be impossible. However it is a nice beach and worth a look...More

Beautiful, even in November. So clean and unspoilt and at this time of year all you're met by are very friendly locals or did walkers etc.

We had a nice walk on the beach. It was a bit windy and nobody was about. Good parking just up the road, a shop, burger bar and hotel all at hand.

As there is no one around, there is plenty of public parking just down from the beach.. This beach has a huge expanse of sand, easy to see why it is so popular in the height of summer. and it is just out of town...More

Last of the Indian summer weather today 17c. Lovely walk in the water and beautiful views. Bring your flask as no place to get refreshments at this time of year.

Gorgeous even on a rainy day. We took a stroll alomg this beautiful beach in the sunshine and then the rain came and instead of making the beach inhospitable it nust added to the beauty.

This beach has two access roads, the main one bring you to the hotel shop and chipper end and the other , at the castle end, has less parking albeit a good bit quieter. Beach is big and clean and has lots to do.

The Gold Coast hotel has a private car park access directly beside the beach. They will give you the code to the gate at the car park. There is a proper walkway/footpath to the beach and restrooms are on this walkway.
