Had a lovely walk in beach today. Water lovely and warm. Beach clean. Some activities going on for kids such as boat rides and wet suit hire. Bicycles to be seen as others similar to ourselves were cycling the greenway.

Beach clean enough, and there is a life guard. The rubbish around the local shop and car park was horrific, not a bin to be found. Shop and take away do not seem to take any responsibility for the rubbish created.

Clones beach is an amazing beach. It is very clean and always has life guards on duty. The beach is nearly always packed. And is very safe as water is quite shallow Until very far out. As an FYI dogs aren't allowed on the beach...More

Beach was nice and clean. Local shop was very messy and dirty when I went in. Papers in a box outside all thrown everywhere. Was not impressed so walked out

A lovely little spot easy to access and plenty of free parking nearby. We choose to have a picnic here and I have never been on such a truly quiet beach. Perhaps it was it's location, no traffic noise, no noisy neighbours but the peaceful...More

This is a lovely beach. It is a quiet beach and ideal to visit if you are in the area. It has little rock pools, so ideal for entertaining the kids, but also an expansive beach to wander along. We enjoyed our visit, even though...More

On one of the coldest brightest days of the year we had a bracing walk on this spotlessly clean beach. If only the temperature had been 20 degrees higher . .

Went for a stroll here today. Windy and cold.......but bracing. Cleared away the cobwebs in my head after a long drive here. Parking is a bit restricted and on a hot day would be impossible. However it is a nice beach and worth a look...More

The Gold Coast hotel has a private car park access directly beside the beach. They will give you the code to the gate at the car park. There is a proper walkway/footpath to the beach and restrooms are on this walkway.
