Found this place by driving past it and visited: a fascinating museum with a wide range of exhibits including a model lead mine that you can actually enter. To my surprise they also have a real lead mine with many of the original tools still...More

Visited the museum and then did the tour of temple mine. Brilliant day. Tour guide fantastic with children. Very interesting tour. Museum small but very interesting.

Wonderful museum showing the history of lead mining in Derbyshire. Some fascinating and fabulous exhibits brought up from the mines. Well worth a visit.

It's worth a visit to this museum. Adults will find plenty of interest in the exhibits , and children will love climbing up and through the simulated lead mines, and pressing the buttons to operate the machinery. Great value for money too.

We went to the museum and then the mine well worth a look for a day out but book quick as spaces go fast would recommend to all my friends and family with a great guild too 👍😊bit muddy in some places so addicate foot...More

Visited the mine and museum with our 6 year old boy. We all loved it. Good tour and guide very knowledgeable.Our little boy loved it especailly searching for gold at the end! The museum great too. Nice for a few hours
