Great beach but beware of the dogs. They are allowed to roam on this part of the beach but not on other parts.

new to the area we are blessed to have this beach within half mile walk. serviced by a friendly cafe all the months we have been here so far, dog friendly, easy access to Broadstairs on the promenade or there and Ramsgate on the beach with the tide out. Fine sand, usually very clean, does get sea-weedy at times but... More

Lovely beach within ten minutes walk of the main part of Broadstairs. Sam's cafe is an ideal place to sit with a hot drink (food available if needed), and watch the world go by - dog walkers, the waves & the tide. Downside now is that the toilets are closed! - nearest ones in Broadstairs.

Had a lovely time here with the dogs. Not too crowded. Lovely little cafe right in the beach, with a good choice of food; maybe could have done with a sun umbrella or sombrero. If the sun is shining remember your sun block A little gem of a find 😎☀️🐶

This is a great beach with a little cafe that allows dogs on it all year round. Park is FREE on nearby roads and only a short walk down a steep ramp to the beach. Fantastic at low tide, loads of space for the kids and the dog to play and never normally very busy.

How I've never found this beautiful little beach before is beyond me! We visited for the first time with our dog. We arrived about 9.30am and it was quite empty with 3 or 4 dogs having a great time. The beach is clean and relaxing. The cafe, Sam's does a great range of food and is quite reasonably priced. We... More

One year on, I have to say that nothing has changed at Sam's bar, it remains excellent with great food, coffee and service with a smile. I have introduced quite a few people and in turn they have introduced others. It is a great place to sit, relax, enjoy the view whilst eating some really delicious food - bacon and... More
