Lovely little part of Broadstairs. As you walk down the main street and onto the main beach, walk around (or through the garden if walking above) and you come to a quieter patch of sand. Still clean, nice sand, just without all the familes. Dogs...More

A very small family-friendly beach that can disappear at high spring tides. A small cafe on the esplanade offers early morning tea and bacon rolls for munching on the esplanade while watching the sun rise over the channel.

This beach is the nearest to where I live in broadstairs so visit it a lot. Great cafe but no toilet that I can recall. For those that moan about dogs this may be better than dumpton gap as not allowed on beach after 10am...More
