This is a special place for such a touching monument. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, it helps you to realize how small we are, and yet what a huge impact these soldiers have made.

I was very moved by this monument the location is very exposed and we got glimpses of Ben Nevis and Aonach Mor between the mist and cloud. Humbling these soldiers gave their lives for us on foreign land. The other monument is a rememberance circle for soldiers of... More

Was advised to visit by my friend , a place of spectacular views and reminders of what the commandos would have gone thru to train in this environment to fight for us in the war.

Easy to park nearby and walk across to the monument. It overlooks the commando training ground. Another area nearby commemorates current commandos as well. Very moving

Very moving, the back drop of the mountains really set the monument off. Lovely walk nearby for the dogs.

Even as you speed past the monument you cannot help but be taken in by its presence, so do not just pass pull into the car park and spend a few moments at the garden and then have a walk around the site Make sure you have a coat even in the summer mind.

If you are in the area or nearby it is definitely a must place to go. This monument is sited overlooking the commando training ground. If you are up to it, also visit the memorial plaques. Very sad..
