Gorgeous scenery, hiking trails everywhere along with many lakes. A fishing license is required to fish in the park ($34CAD each) separate from a Manitoba license and your hooks have to be barbless. Fished 6 different lakes from the bank with no luck.

I visited a dozen Canadian national parks this year, and Riding Mountain NP was a pleasant if not exactly overwhelming surprise. The forest is lovely and the trails worth exploring. Don't expect an actual "mountain" though!

While the park has many acres, it is very small compared to other Canadian and American National Parks. It has many lakes and lots of trails. Many of the trails are a very short 1K hike and those are more like a nice walk rather...More

I saw a man playing fetch with his dog in the water on the main beach but not where the sand is, they were on the right side where the trees are

1, 16, 10, 45 are all good for road bikes, paved and passable with few pot holes. 354, 262, 19 would require an off road bike or slow going on a street bike. I suggest coming in on Hwy 1 then north on Hwy 10. Stop in Onanole... More
