We visited this waterfall on the first day. It's not too far away so is good when you have a half day to fill. Wonderful swimming and a chance to get under the waterfall. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

Great place to visit. Beautiful and incredible for swimming. There is a restaurant with food both close to the river and at the entrance for complete meals. No guide needed and free!!!

It's so nice there to take a swim, escape the heat. Jump into the water, but be careful. We were out of the main season, so it was not very busy, which is good. Really enjoyed that place.

Great views and swimming. We did it late afternoon and skipped the crowd. Kids loved it! Even with nos too much water in the waterfall it was worth it. Beautiful!

Really good place to Swim and Experience swimming through a waterfall if you fancy. My first ever swim through the powerful water of a waterfall, very refreshing and fun.

The waterfall and the pool below it is really beautiful, but don't go there during a brasilian feriado! The number of people being there with you takes the fun out of being there...

While in Chapada Diamantina we've visited a few waterfalls. This was our first one, probably due to the easy access. We went for a swim on its cold waters, which was very welcome on a hot day. The water is black due to sediments of...More

Wonderful hike on good trail with 2km of climbing and 4km of traversing across the top of the Mesa to the top of the falls and then return by same trail.
