Very clean & serene

The beaches around Porbandar are absolutely untouched & is ideal for someone want to relax in isolation. Long unending beaches are clean & ideal for having fun at beaches.

Nice place, serene, gushing waters of Arabian Sea didn't demean the courage of numerous young Gujaratis to explore wiser horizons in pursuit of higher studies happiness at far off shores in London. Mahatma Gandhi was one of them

This is a brilliant beach, clean and well maintained. If alcohol was made legal in Gujarat, this could be another Goa. Shame, as much alcohol is sold in black market. You can get any brand of alcohol at a phone call in most cities in Gujurat.

Locals are either very well trained in sea swimming or taking risk factors in plenty. Young - Old - Ladies - Gents all can be seen reaching half a mile into the sea every mornings. Otherwise, a meeting point for love birds during the day. Nice walkway along side the beach.

One of the average cities of Gujarat.. The cement factory on the Somnath road is one of the culprit to pollute the whole city which will be engulfed with dust almost all the time.. The city infrastructure is also not that great.. The land of the bapu can have better roads and infrastructure.. The density of traffic is too huge... More

Madhavpur beach is one of the most beautiful and pristine beach I have visited in India. While there are some camels to take you from the road to the beach, the water is clean and not as polluted as one is used to seeing on most of the beaches in India.

Their are many beaches in India, & it can not be said that this one is one of the best, but its a good one. The city is under mass development phase right now, & that is the biggest problem here. But Porbandar is certainly a very good place to visit at least once. Their are many attractions to visit,... More

It is like many beaches in India. It has potential but lack of maintenance has left the beach strewn with rubbish. Cows are everywhere. People just come here and sit around. They have their snacks and throw rubbish around. No one really cares about their town. The road to beach is full of potholes. The rickshaw driver could not drive... More
