Old charm of the place gone not maintained. Good place to go for morning or evening walks. Its a source of water for the village below the babbington point

Nothing much to see there as the view is restricted by trees. Even if you wish to visit the point, do that during sunlight as the place is empty and a eerie silence all around. But perfect for birding and you may get chance to see the Giant squirrel there.

Attractions or site-seeing places referred to as points in Mahabaleshwar usually offer view of valley, hills, dam, lake etc. Tour operators offer 7 standard package and this point is not included in any of these, still we decided to visit this place out of curiosity. Babbington Point is one amongst the many view points in Mahabaleshwar hills. Due to the heavy undergrowth and bushes, the view of the valley below is not that clear. Not to improve the upkeep to restore its glory

This is one of the viewpoints which isn't really upto the mark and needs a bit of maintenance. There are many bushes and vegetation which block the otherwise decent views possible. Can be given a pass if one is in Mahabaleshwar for a limited time

It seems in the past it was one of the attractive destinations. But presently it was not even worth a visit as the view of the valley is blocked due to grown up vegetation. The spot needs upkeep to maintain its charm.
