The trail was slick due to rainshowers but I managed to run it, even with my camera attached to my shoulder. The viewpoints are amazing, the falls gushing rust-colored water that when photographed in slow mo, created fabulous images. Fortunately, it was a week day...More

We visited here on our recent holiday to the Lake District and this was by far our favourite activity. I think we slightly underestimated what was involved as we turned up at 1.30pm and didn't finish the trail until 4.30pm. Allow yourself plenty of time...More

This walk is beautiful and certainly worth doing. HOWEVER, this is a 4.5 mile trail with uneven terrain all along it, so feels much longer than 4.5 miles. Its not suitable for elderly and requires a good level of health. There are lots (over 1000...More

Recommend this walk it has some beautiful waterfalls and we try to get here whenever we visit Yorkshire. Car park is £15 for family all day. You don't actually pay to do the walk so I guess this covers looking after this beautiful place. I...More

Dogs are more than welcome. Saw lots of lovely dogs on our walk. There's a lovely little part of the falls near to the end of the walk where they can have a splash and cool off! Just please remember your poo bags!
