The dramatic beauty of the Pennine moorlands, featuring quaint villages, dry stone walls and beautiful cottages, is an added bonus to the mischievous antics TV viewers have come to expect from the Summer Wine characters. The exhibition incorporates Compo's house, and has original props and photos along with a timeline of the whole series from the very beginning till the end of the show. 295 episodes of everlasting humour. My daughter now 17 has loved watching LOSW since she was young, we have talked about coming to Holmfirth so many times and finally we have made it this year. What a fitting tribute to the cast and show, some famous props from popular episodes including Compo's infamous Matchbox, sadly you don't get to see what is inside. Entry fee... More

Small but very informative treasure in Holmfirth. Full of facts, props and tv coverage of moments from the show. Entry fee is a bargain at £2.50 compared to other similar places around the country. Gift shop is great too
