Plenty of sand and miles of walking. Near Canoa there are many beach restaurants all with chairs, tables and sun loungers for you to use. Swimming is good, water warm and a gentle slope as you wade in.

Came here 30 years ago and the place is still very authentic. Worth the visit. Just don't eat at the Venezia restaurant. It's terrible.

if you want a beach and sea holiday what to ask more? it's so nice being in Canoa. Sun and sea and maybe a capirinha or a coccada (try it: it's a cake made by fresh coconut and milk; yummy)
