We have visited this island during the jetski tour in October 2016. Very nice and pecauful, not a lot of monkeys. The island really has a shape of a pregnant lady lying in the mountains :) very nice. We enjoyed!

We swam in the lake and it was so refreshing! Very beautiful and clean natural attraction. The rent life-jackets, water boats, and it is a great fun place!

We were dropped here as part of an Island Hopping tour and left for an hour. 20 mins would have been adequate to walk up the stairs, past the slightly illegible signs (in English, translated at the bottom which had discoloured) and bad plastic tigers, to a load of floating pontoons on the lake peppered with dire warnings about swimming... Legend says that barren women who bathe in the lake will be able to conceive children again. I went here on a tour from Langkawi, in which we also got to see the sea eagles and tour the beaches. Be careful of the monkeys - they are quick and smart. I saw one eyeing my apple, which I placed in... More

Beautiful location, fresh water lake surrounded by hills. Little uneven walkway. They charge 6 ringgit per person as entry fee. Good for swimming and pedal boating.

Rent a kayak / paddleboat and within a few minutes you are in the middle of the freshwater lake on your own, with only the sounds of the forests and your own breathing. There are scuba rental options too! Combine it with a trip to Kilim Geoforest Park and Beras Basah Island for a full day tour!
