We stayed just off the beach. On our first day we walked down to see the beautiful white beach and were shocked with the amount of pollution on the beach. There was hundreds of plastic bottles which looked awful plus dozens of plastic bags left...More

Best place to chill on the beach, get a massage and have a chilled bottle of Chang beer. Night the place near Naga bar is buzzing with fire show and other entertainment.

What a place! And how perfectly well managed, from the ferry to the hotel and the stay, hats off to the management, and specifically the very charming guest relations manager. She ensured even the smallest issue was settled without delay. We stayed in Deluxe villa...More

I would say Saikeaw beach is one of the beautiful beach in Koh Samed. That’s why many tourists here. Evening time many restaurants are crowded.

Could be a fabulous beach but the constant coming and going of speed boats make it almost impossible to swim. Excessive amounts of rubbish in the water, quite unacceptable for a national park!

An environmental disaster of a beach and busier than many cities. Within a 20 m strip of beach opposite I counted at one time 7 large boats revving their engines, loading and unloading vast numbers of tourists. Across the beach you might lose count. Continuous...More

Sai Kaew means glittering and precious sand in Thai. The beach name gives people an idea how pure this beach used to be. However last week my friends and I decided to stroll down Sai Kaew beach after dinner in order to enjoy sea breeze...More

The beach is very long and beautiful but too crowded. Good for having parasiling and activities. Many restaurants with Loud music. Most of the hotels and restaurants are based on chinese taste because most of tourists are from china. Noisy 24 hrs.

If you must go to Ko Samed, don’t bother with this beach. Rip offs, smell of petrol and overly crowded it is not a pleasant experience. Never use Jang-Arun boat tours. No life jackets, loony drivers. We live in Thailand and a trip to this...More
