There are only a few upper-class resorts situated on Ao Prao beach. Although there are limited bars and restaurants, they are modern designed and good for drinks before dinner. We went there for sunset view and we were lucky enough that the scene was really...More

Nicest beach on Samet. White sand and clear blue waters. Not over crowded. Easy to swim. Not much to see while snorkeling.

More exclusive beach on the west side of koh samet - away from the VERY touristy main town beach on the east coast( FULL of chinese tourists). Nice swimming areas roped off for safety and a couple of good restaurants to eat at.

It surprised me that all these 5 star hotels live on this insanely dirty beach. I saw needles, and plastic upon plastic. Disgusted to see how Thailand doesn't care about their ocean. They are dumping everything in their ocean and ruining the planet. Air is...More

Make the most if this beach now before it gets trashed. Too many speedboats with 100s of tourists who do not appear very interested in getting rid of their rubbish responsibly. Great shame

The place is a small paradise, but unfortunately there is a bit of garbage in the water. The beach itself is clean and with fine sand.

Kept tidy pretty well, however a terrible sewer bringing filth many cubic meters an hour near Ploy Talay restaurant. People swimming in it. This time of year a lot of chinese there. Good restaurant services, all the action is here at this beach.
