This is interesting but a little on the pricey side. The steps are the main attraction and the views are really nice. We had to hurry somewhat as the place was closing in 30 minutes but we had a chance to see all the rooms.

In a small village such as this...the castle was impressive. There was a piano recital while we were there, that added to the enjoyment of our visit. Pretty grounds as well... loved the trees, water features and flowers. Inside is not as exciting, but still...More

This chateau is worth a visit if you are in Provence. As always it was constructed over an extended period until it was left in very poor condition about the turn of the 20th century at which point it was rescued by a wealthy businessman...More

Really enjoyed the visit - the chateau is beautiful. A pianist was rehearsing for a recital that evening so we were lucky to be accompanied by her music. Really worth a visit whilst in Lourmarin

Nice chateau to immerse in the feeling of Provence. Very authentic arhitecture and classic furniture of 18th century

The chateau is very interesting, it was built in the Middle Ages and shows how the wealthy people lived in Provence during the Middle Ages and later.

Loved the village and was happy we decided to visit the chateau. It's worth an hour or so visit if you have time. There's not a huge amount of artifacts to see inside, but still interesting for those who like history.

This is a must stop in the region. The village is beautiful and since you are there it is interesting to see the chateau too.big medieval rooms, amazing fire places, and simple imposing furniture. You can wander around which is nice.
