The view from the castle walls and tower is nice and it's neat to explore but the true value of it is the city it's in. Monschau is a beautiful little town in the middle of a valley and is worth the visit. You'll only...More

We enjoyed its tower and very quiet surrounding. Moncshau differ to other towns we have seen, and that made impression.

An earlier review posted here has beautifully summed up MONSCHAU already: This historic town is so packed with charmingly old architecture, that literally you will not know what to look at or photograph first!!! Utterly mesmerising town and highly recommended place to visit in Germany!!!

/This is one of the most picturesque places we have ever seen. We only had an hour or two to spend here so we'd walked about the narrow cobblestone streets. What an absolutely delightful little town with traditional German timbered houses.
