This is an interesting site, you cannot miss it if you go to the Livadia beach, it is worth getting a look inside.

I was so excited to see this sacred site, but it was small and subtle. Unlike Athens it is scaled to the size of the island. You can read a sign and touch marble coffin outside the fence. It is located on the water and...More

While down at the waterfront, at the post office or at the grocery store, which are near by, you can look at what in Athens would be a interesting exhibit is instead a small building and weedy lot on the waterfront. Go, look, review, but...More

This is just along the main waterfront street and is just maybe half an acre. It is interesting to see the old coffins but really is just a 10 minute visit if even

We quickly saw the ancient cemetery in the town of parikia. It is located across the street from the port. It is worth a view. We didn't feel the need to go inside. It is in town and not out of the way.

The ancient cemetery of Paros shows ancient tombs, bones and marble gravestones. There are posters with descriptions and the history of the cemetery! The Municipality of Paros should keep this site clean and tidy all year round!

This site was excavated in 1983 and has a small building housing some artifacts including bones. However it has obviously suffered from lack of funding and has not been kept up. Unlike the pictures on the signage, it has been partially overgrown and nature is...More

It's not you're grand archeological site, but it's an interesting piece of ancient history, of respect shown for battles fought, and a memorial of the past. Very easy to access and you can spend 10 minutes on your way to dinner or a walk through...More
