Lipari and Vulcano Tour

1 review
google
The tour from Catania allows all those who are in the Hotel or in a B & b to be able to reach and visit the beauty of Lipari and Vulcano belonging to the archipelago of the Aeolian Islands, without worrying about the round trip transfer and enjoy unique landscapes like the Ionian coastal coastline during the first light of morning and sunset when returning.

Bait Negra has a great location right on the black beach of Vulcano and cooling breezes come by. The food however is nothing special, and we have come to expect special in Sicily. The cunzano is a thick slab of pizza for which we had a topping of tuna tomato olives and mozzarella, tough to eat with your hands and also difficult with a knife and fork. I asked the waiter whether the tuna in the penne with tuna was fresh or from a can, and he assured that it was fresh, and it was from a can, of course Sicily has excellent tuna from a can, but that did not really compensate. Once again the setting was exceptional and perhaps a simple salad would have been a better option

We liked the fact it was on the beach and music was good. After 20:00 they serve pasta with aperitivo so people flock in to have dinner... It gets busy and they like quick turn-around. We then moved to the restaurant. Food was good but we got eaten by mosquitos. Very friendly staff though. May be good just for lunch?
