This “natural hot spring” is nothing more than a sulphur smelling community pool. It is enclosed by an industrial brick wall rusted to filth. Lounge chairs are €40 each while regular sitting chairs are free ( like I really want to spend a relaxing day sitting upright on a chair). The swampy, algae filled pool itself is underwhelming and subpar to be attached to a “ luxury world hotel”. Other indoor thermal spas can be included with a hefty price tag, however that still does not include access to the hotel pool ( which is nothing special either) the staff is incredibly rude and only care to accommodate the hotel guests. Lastly I’d like to add that there is absolutely no greenery and guests are expected to walk on a rock hard surface reminiscent of a children’s wading pool. NOT A LUXURIOUS EXPERIENCE…

This was our first visit to one of Italy's famous thermal pools. Unlike many of the natural pools, this one was located inside of the spa. It features a large waterfall and several other fountain features that massage the body. We found the pool very relaxing. The staff was accommodating. We were provided with spa robes that came in handy after spending time in the thermal pool. We spent awhile just lounging by the pool. The dressing/shower area was very clean. There is a snack bar inside. Tip: Plan to spend at least a half day to experience all they have to offer.…

We stayed there for one night and the location is really very very beautiful, especially in the night time! But regarding the price you have to pay and that they call themselves one of the „Leading Hotels of the World“ you can definitely expect more. Everything is very old and not renovated, the staff is sometimes a little unfriendly and the bathroom was not clean at all (there were a lot of hairs in the shower and something on the floor). Nevertheless did we enjoy the time at the pool a lot as it was the perfect place for a hot summer day and the breakfast was very good as well! I hope that they spend some money in a renovation because it really has potential! Otherwise it is not worth the money at all.…

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. We had the half board plan so dinner was included. It's a beautiful dining room. The pools are nice and the views are incredible. There didn't seem to be many staff around during the day and we had trouble finding the towels until we discovered on our own where they are kept. Breakfast is amazing. Such a big variety and great quality.…

Fonteverde is a wonderful spa hotel with excellent and professional staff. Beautiful room with a fantastic valley view. Impressive thermal pools and facilities. The spa is efficiently run and the massage and treatments were top quality. To the management ... 1. Your breakfast seating area is too small, we waited for 10-15 minutes to be seated and the buffet looked like it had been raided by a hungry mob. 2. The Bio Acqua Snack Bar needs to be better staffed. Only two persons serving, a long queue at the cash and people waiting for ages at the table hoping to order their plate of salad. Bravissima Alessandra at checkout.…
