NOT worth the high entry cost. Yes, there is a cost. Check their website ahead of time for current costs.

A panoramic view from the top
Jul 2020
Experience the fjords with the best scenery from the top! Indeed it is most impressive panoramic view in Norway. I never experienced how beautiful Norway is before corona hit the world, but wow! just wow! I was in awe. It was a rainy cloudy day, but we patiently waited until the sky cleared. It was majestic, like watching a movie from game of thrones, the hobbit and the ring. We paid 200 crowns online, fair enough to get a good parking from one of the four parking lots situated at the left side of the road.

Must do
Jun 2020
Just a must do if you are in this area. Consider skipping if there are low clouds or fog. The experience here is all in the view. Steep road so tak eit easy.

Wow

This place is amazing. On the way up you have to pay $ 200 which is well worth it. The road up is good and the place is well maintained and looks very good.

A once a lifetime Hiking experience
Jul 2019 • Solo
Oh My God ! That will be first word after you will reach at this point. A really beautiful spot worth a single penny spent and hard work you did while hiking to the top. A very panoramic view, when ever I look at the photos I always say that was the once in life time experience I had. Can't explain in my words or photos. Am loving it.

Low clouds and cold for out visit
Jul 2019
I'm sure the view is amazing but due to some very low clouds, much fog and very cold temps, we really didn't get to see much of the view. The clouds were rolling across the mountain and for a few seconds we were able to see bits and pieces of the view. Stop there on a clear day.

WOW definitely worth the effort to get to and experience.

You will not get this magnificent view at to many places in the world. Gift house was under renovation when we were there but when completed appears that it would be outstanding as well. Walking out on the viewing platform you get to look directly down at your feet and below as well as an expansive 360 degree view of the area.

Holy cow, the wind!
Sep 2019
So we drove up the hair pin road with such lovely scenery, it was a beautiful sunny day. One minute from the look out, it was as if we drove into a snow storm, the wind was wild and we could barely walk in it. The view was nothing because of the snowy cloud we seemed to have driven into. But the drive there was worth it and I snapped one of my favorite pictures of Norway there.

Magnificient View
Sep 2019 • Couples
This is an optional tour for 25 Euro per pax. The group decided to give it a go. It was sunny and clear sky. We are lucky to hace such a wonderful weather so told by Akex Chew, our guide. Our bus coach was powerful enough to drive us 28 peopke up the 1400m climb. The view of snow covered moutain top was spectacular especially for those who see and touch snow for thr first time. My wife and I were at Iceland three months ago and it was as breathtaking here. Photo shooting at every angle was just as beaufiful with the snow and the exposed rock surface giving the black and white contrast.
