Started at the Fjord Center and walked down the stairs that run along the river. Stopped and took photos and videos as the river came crashing down the mountains in a series of waterfalls. Neat to be up close. Then we headed to the nearby...More

This is worth doing a quick climb on the stairs behind the town. The waterfall is pretty impressive and there are nice views back toward the fjord.

This is an amazing place to walk and take awesome pictures. Half way down you do get a little wet but it's refreshing when it's so hot. Enjoy.

Easy walk, with stairs close to the falls. Be sure to be on the path side of the falls and not the road side or you will end up missing the stairs. Snow melt or recent rains sure help the intensity.

A great walk along the waterfall which goes right thru the town of Geiranger. There’s lots of steps as it climbs up along the waterfall! Luckily, I took a bus tour which stopped at the Geiranger fjord center and we had the option to walk...More

Nice walk along the waterfall. Short distance from the port. The waterfall could be very strong with the rain and you are likely to get wet by the mist. You can take a rest at Fjord center or Hotel Union after the walk.
