We really enjoyed this insight into how people used to live on the island. There was a detailed video of how an olive press worked which was intriguing and I was impressed at the ingenuity of people back then. It made us appreciate modern conveniences...More

Visited here as we had came up to see the church, worth it. Displays are interesting and enjoyable. Great to see a bit of the history of Ibiza and it's people.

We travelled over to Sant Eularia from Cala Vadella today (Tuesday 4 April ) especially to view this museum only to find it was closed. No notice on the gate explaining why. We were not amused.

At 3 Euros it was well worth the visit. Very well laid out local history museum. It is at the top of a steep hill so difficult for people with mobility problems to access.

This museum is a converted mill. It is fascinating as it includes clothing of the habitants including jewellery. Life was clearly very hard and the museum shows how the people made olive oil, shelled nuts, etc.

The Ibiza Ethnographic Museum takes you back in time to Ibiza pre tourist days . Small admission fee of a few euros and worth a visit if you are visiting church next door

Small intimate museum providing you with a snapshot of how rural life used to be on the Island. A very real sense of stepping back in time and how people used to live before the mass invasion of tourists and the club culture. Fascinating to...More
