This is as lovely as the view from the vinyard. take some time and soak it in. Buy a candle, say a prayer, donate to its upkeep. It will do your heart good.

This old church is by the lake Constanz and is very beautiful. Outside there is a grapeyard and a beautiful scenery over the lake Constanz. It is very beautiful inside with high ceilings and great paintings and sculptures. You are not allowed to take photographs inside. This is very long and nice. A nice church.

This is simply stunning. Sitting near the main road B31, you cannot miss it. It overlooks the lake and has a vineyard to tne front. Parking fees are charged, a gift shop, toilets and small coffee shop are situated just outside the car park. Therre is no charge for entering the church and although the sign inside reads "no photography"... More

Rich architecture, barock at its best. The view from the place in front of the Basilica is just great!

A beautiful Cistercian church design. Uniquely different from the one at Salem. Sadly the views over the lake and the mountains were obscured by the fog, low visibility and rain.

Beautiful and amazing architectural building overlooking Lake Konstanz with lots of statues and artwork throughout. Highly recommended and a great gift shop for unique gifts or trinkets.

Located close to Uhldingen at the North shore of the lake. Its has a beautiful view overlooking the lake, island Mainau and Uhldingen. The baroque church is dated back until the 9th century and has a gorgeous decorated interior. Easy access by car form the the B31 (between Uhldingen and überlingen, you will see it!) by public transport one has... More

This is Cistercian Baroque architecture at its finest. The statues were upstaged by the beautiful art and frescoes wherever you looked. Though pictures weren't allowed the book for sale catches a small glimpse of the beauty of this church. It's no wonder the Cistercian order was called the order of light. Their building technique truly let this church be bright... More

The inside is beautifully ornate (no photos allowed) and it's an active church so confessional was on when I was there. The surroundings outside are gorgeous with wide views over the lake or just enjoy the architecture. The people I was with said it is a popular wedding location and I can see why.
