Castello Sonnino is situated in the town of Montespertoli and represents the foundation of Italian culture. Castello Sonnino has been selected as a ‘Gucci Places’, a project Gucci launched in 2018, identifying seven special places in the world they claim to be inspirational. Castello Sonnino is ‘living history to sustain the future’. Tours our ancient Cellars, Vinsantaia & wine tastings are possible on request as well as a meal at our own Enoteca, there is also free entrance to the nearest swimming-pool (5 minutes by car).

Amazing setting, and family history linked to this place. We had the "light lunch" with wine tasting - loads of food (most from the estate) with great wines. Could have stayed a lot longer and enjoyed more of the wine!

Our family had a wonderful and relaxed time at Castello Sonnino. The food was plentiful and delicious, and accompanied by very good 'castle made' wines. We enjoyed the tour and seeing how the traditional methods are still being used, especially for the Vin Santo dessert...More
