The beauty of this plaza lies not only in the architecture, but also includes the people and the overall ambiance. The people are very friendly and they make a point to say Ciao whether they are busy or not.

The Piazza is very nice but what makes it even more beautiful are all the little streets that surrounds the Piazza and all of Pienza, the colors of the flowers on their balconies and friendly people everywhere.

Ramble along a picturesque street to this Piazza; enjoy the church and then wander down onto the city walls and look out over the view. From the one side the town does not seem very high but from the walls you get a better perspective....More
