I seriously believe that it's worth paying a bit more to have your own guide and ride at your own pace and level. We've biked on roads, secondary road, trails and some cross-country. We bought some very good wine and lunch was delicious. Carlo will answer almost any questions related to wine or to Toscany history. Try it and you won't regret it!

Did this 2 hours after arriving to Florence and it was a great way to see an overview of the city and learn some history! Our guide Freddy was hilarious and relatable, he was making jokes the whole time which we appreciated. The biking portion wasn't too bad and was a great way to get in exercise while seeing beautiful views along the way! The villa's olive oil, wine, and snacks were local products and the best of the best. Would recommend to anyone looking for a wine and olive oil tasting without an hour bus commute outside the city!

We had a limited time to visit Tuscany, and this was definitely the way to go! So much better than seeing the landscape through car windows. Carlo is extremely knowledgable and obviously passionate about the Chianti region, the growing process, and wine. We fit several days worth of knowledge into our four hour tour, enjoyed cycling through the beautiful countryside, visited a church and learned about its history from its custodian, and enjoyed a private wine tasting and delicious lunch at the end of the tour. A day very well spent! Bonus - on returning home, we went to the grocery and right there on display was a bottle of Chianti Classico with the black rooster and DOCG label, and we now know the significance of each of those things!

With Carlo we had a great day to discover 2 precious gem villages in Tuscany : the small town of Colle Val D'Elsa with centuries long glassware tradition and Monteriggioni, a fortified hilltop with breathtaking views of Chianti. The biking tour was perfectly suited for our fitness level, the bikes in excellent condition and the wine tasting to finish off the tour was mind blowing. Highly recommended if you want to do Tuscany in a non toruristy way!

TWB was a great day out. We did a day tour with Carlo who was a very knowledgeable guide around Tuscany. He speaks very sound English. The bikes and equipment were 1st grade. We had a lovely day with our Italian friends and Carlo & Lucca. Wine tasting at the end of the day was an added bonus. Thanks again Carlo, ciao Ham & Amy Brennan
