9 minutes in and out. Dead and nearly dead fishes. 1m moray eel in a tank made for guppys. This place should really need an animal cruelty checkup. Stay away.

This place is okay for a rainy madeira day but pretty expensive for such a tiny aquarium... Funny they had a Christmas tree in the aquarium.....

Went here as part of the scuba diving experience to swim with sharks and rays. Not the worlds most extensive aquarium compared to places like The Deep in Hull but worth a visit as it's user friendly and well set out.

Nice and small aquarium, with the most interesting marine species of the region in well preserved aquaria. Nothing spectacular, not close to Lisbon Oceanarium, but well worth a visit.

This is a very small aquarium considering the rich maritime and sea life history of the island. Having said that, it was worth the few euro’s entrance and was a nice visit.
