This tour was absolutely wonderful. I badgered Keishya with a million questions about the island, the shipwreck, the monkeys, kayaking in general, and she always had an answer. Her vast knowledge and obviously love for what she does (and life in general) makes this tour even more fantastic. The trip out to the island wasn't as strenuous as I thought... More

This is a great kayaking experience out to cool little island where you are sure to see monkeys being the awesome creatures that they are. The kayaking is in double kayaks and in the ocean which can be a slight learning curve for first timers, but Bob is a great instructor. He's a laid back and knowledgeable guide. We learned... More

What an amazing experience. We were looking for a kayaking trip and found this online and were wondering what we were actually getting into with a place called Monkey Island. We have made several trips to Puerto Rico and had never heard of Monkey Island. We figured why not try it and boy are we glad we did. First of... More

the kayak across to the island doesn't seem to be that far but it can be challenging if the wind and tide are against you. the monkeys were fun to watch especially on the parade between the islands which we caught. the snorkel location was not so great. no coral and only a few variety of fish to observe and... Keishya was so nice and knowledgeable and made this trip a great memory! We kayaked to the island and watched monkeys. Then we snorkeled all around the shipwreck seeing all sorts of different fish and starfish. We finished our trip with some more kayaking by the island and monkey viewing. I would recommend this trip to anyone!

We had already done most of the standard tourist things in San Juan and were looking for something different for a day trip. We met at the beach and launched the kayaks from there, after receiving instructions. Keishya gave the more experienced kayakers and snorkelers a little more freedom, and stayed close to help those who weren't used to kayaking/snorkeling.... More

The guide Bob is awesome and the monkeys are crazy! He is very informative and soft spoken so there is little to no intimidation for someone who hasn't Kayaked or Snorkeled before. The monkeys are everywhere and you can see them very well. The sea wreck that you snorkel in is beautiful. It's small so there is no issue at... More

Went on the morning tour with Keishya, she was very informative about the island and quite witty. I recommend doing the morning tour, so it isn't so hot out. We kayaked around the whole island and it was great! The views of Puerto Rico in the distance were absolutely beautiful. If you love monkeys as much as i do this... More

There are. It may places where you can get a three hour tour for $55 anywhere that I have been. The tour starts with a 20 minute kayak across the bay. Then what happens is up to you. Bob said we could check out the monkeys or snorkel. Most of our group wanted to snorkel so after a short ride... More

We really enjoyed the kayaking and snorkeling at Monkey Island! Bob was our guide and led our group of five to the island to see the monkeys, telling us interesting info about them. The snorkeling was awesome, the shipwreck there provides lots of nooks and crannies for many different types of fish and sea life.
